Businesses evolve, and mine is no exception. Great things are happening, and I hope you don’t mind me sharing them with you. This isn’t a sales pitch, just an update…every now and then I figure I get to talk about my business!
When I founded Cōgris less than two years ago we started out with a single focus – offering peer advisory boards for Dallas business owners using the great model and tools provided by The Alternative Board (“TAB”). TAB is a fabulous vehicle for business owners to get objective advice and counsel, and our local boards are thriving and growing. In fact, we’re about to launch a new board focused specifically on solo-practice and small-firm attorneys. As far as we know, this will be the first dedicated lawyer board in the entire TAB international system, and I’m really excited about it.
But while TAB has grown, we’ve been offered new opportunities. We find ourselves being asked to do executive coaching, we’ve accepted a number of traditional consulting engagements and we’ve facilitated client off-site meetings. Now it’s time for us to grow again. I wanted to share with you just a little bit about our next step.
In a week I’ll travel to Detroit to work with Gino Wickman, the author of the fabulous book “Traction” and the CEO of EOS Worldwide. If you haven’t read “Traction“, I couldn’t recommend it more highly. In it, you’ll find a clear and concise process that Gino has developed over the years to help business leadership teams develop a laser focus on their business and drive tactical execution.
Once I return from working with Gino, Whittle & Partners will begin offering our newest service — implementing the EOS operating system with business leadership teams. EOS is a simple, practical and process-driven model that helps businesses get their entire organizations on the same page and working in the same direction. When that happens, the results can be amazing.
Once we kick off the EOS side of our business we will have completely rounded out our offerings. Leaders who want to work with us one-on-one relationship can elect an executive coaching package. Business owners who want the unique perspective and guidance of peers travelling the same path can turn to TAB – like thousands of business owners around the world have already done. And executives who are ready to drive new levels of alignment and execution throughout their entire organization can do so using EOS – it’s the most practical, simple and compelling tactical models I’ve ever seen.
Things can always change, but this service mix just feels right to me. Whether it involves individual leaders or entire organizations, Whittle & Partners is now positioned to help businesses improve in whatever way makes the most sense for them.
This is a fun ride. Thanks for reading.
